The positionFollowing the transition to a global organization we have established a new management function in charge of interfacing the global IT Operations and Delivery with the regional client-oriented organizations. Our Technology Infrastructure Services (TIS) organization operating in Switzerland, Germany, Singapore and Australia is seeking for a group head of Systems assurance and Quality. In this global role you will match delivery requirements with existing service delivery standards with the goal to maintain and develop the existing customer satisfaction. From a line management perspective, you will be initially in charge of the regional Monitoring and CMDB team as well as the dotted line responsible for all other regions functions that will be subject to centralized standardization. This position will further develop with more responsibility/scope, but with the same mission.



Your Responsibilities

• Responsible for the continuous surveillance of the 7x24 operation our infrastructure, database, middleware, application and security components and improving their quality


• Maintain and optimize the roadmap and the infrastructure for Event management, Performance analysis and Capacity Monitoring


• Providing pro-active monitoring and alerting of core-banking systems, front workplace and 3rd party systems on an infrastructure and an application level


• Working closely with the regional service delivery management teams for IT Support services to support the planning support schedules, shifts and escalations to support a 24x7x365 operation


• Responsible for a staff with app. 10 persons operating on a group-level basis with one team leader


• Ensuring staff have appropriate skills, training and career development in alignment with Avaloq’s strategy

Education & Experience

• University Master’s degree or higher


• 8+ years technical experience in IT Systems with a minimum of 5 years in a direct supervisory capacity or equivalent experience in a project leadership role with matrix management


• Strong experience with ITIL processes, certification is considered as a plus


• 5+ years of experience in managing and leading IT teams in the area of operations and delivery


• Strong experience in Infrastructure and Application monitoring as well as CMDB tools


• Fluent written and spoken English, other language skills of German, Italian or Mandarin are considered as a plus

• Either of the locations Zurich, Singapore or Lugano with 2-3 trips to the other locations per year
