We are offering for a dedicated Production Quality Engineer the exciting opportunity of joining our quality controll team in Zürich-Oerlikon. In this role, your focus will be on driving products and process quality within GIS production. Your responsibilities

• Proactively measuring and analyzing data from production and field operation in order to early/pro-actively identify product quality issues


• Improving product quality within GIS as well as in collaboration with suppliers by supporting or leading issue resolution projects to rectify non conformities


• Perform troubleshooting tasks for quality issues in the production


• Ensure reporting of Q issues in SAP and drive for sustainable solutions using PFMEA, 8D


• Support SCM in auditing suppliers (1 - 3 audits per year expected)


• Foster adherence to and improvement of quality assurance processes


• lead or support improvements of product development processes (with respect to quality aspects)


• apply lean methodology in the area of production quality


• early/proactive identification of deviations concerning product quality or process deviations

Your background

• Mechanical or electrical university degree or technicien


• >3-year experience in a similar role


• Lean Six Sigma education (YB, GB)


• technical competence in GIS manufacturing and product design is an advantage


• process orientiented personality


• Good German and English skills, written and spoken
