Job Beschreibung


Your mission:


Member of the Global Tech Op’s Strategy & Operational Excellence team, supporting the implementation of a Production System and continuous improvement activities across the TechOp’s network to establish a sustainable CI culture.  


Main accountabilities:


Continuous Improvement:


Key contributor for defining strategic opportunities to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Employee and Cost (SQDEC)


Key contributor for streamlining management infrastructure (Key Performance Indicators, Performance reviews)


Collect and evaluate improvement suggestions, define and scope new Lean and/ or six sigma projects as part of “Diagnostic” activities in line with a standard project framework


Lead cross functional improvement initiatives (Value Stream Management approach)


Training:


Execute appropriate class room training of lean tools and techniques


Training on the job to develop Lean capabilities across the network of sites


Report regulary the progress of Lean capability improvements/activities to the Global team


Coaching:


Identify Lean management behavior gaps at site’s and in global organization


Act as a Lean coach to assure that the Lean leadership behavior is implemented


Support the OpEx site leads in coaching management workforce and shopfloor employees in the implementation and sustainability of Lean principles in their daily work


Facilitate problem solving sessions (PPS)


Coach local OPEX community to ensure their ongoing development


Cross site/functions activities:


Can be in support of Lean activities outside of his assigned site for temporary mission (not longer than 3 months)


Can lead cross site/functions activities, from his location


Participate in the development of standards & deployment of activities linked to the Ferring Production System including the site maturity assessment process


Support strategic subjects to support TechOp’s business priorities and annual objectives


Participate as a subject matter expert to support a “Value Stream Management” approach within Tech Ops


Required Education/ Qualifications/Skills:



  • 5-10 years experience in lean manufacturing or supply chain processes

  • Experience with project and change management

  • Experience with data analysis

  • Strong presentation and communication skills

  • Strong facilitation and consensus-building skills

  • Fluent English and job location language (spoken and written)

  • Self-motivated, persistent, diplomatic motivator, goal-oriented, effective and keen on working in a cross- functional working environment


LEAN (must have):



  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in using the lean Philosophy and tools on shop floor, e.g. Value Stream Mapping, process confirmation, GEMBA, problem solving

  • Thorough understanding of how Lean principles can be used to optimise processes.

  • Demonstrated hands on mentality to use Lean

  • Experience of coaching managers in the application of Lean tools and techniques


Nice to have:



  • Experience with performance management, e.g. implementation of KPIs

  • Six Sigma black belt

  • Experience in a Lean transformation process

  • Exposure to Pharmaceuticals processes and GMPs
