Client Relationship Officer

Mission

You will be working in the Swiss market and be the point of entry for all operational requests from bankers or clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end account-opening process, taking into consideration local regulatory specificities that drive the documentation requirements.

  • Ensure strict follow-up of documentation (pending items, middle office and R&C lists) by contacting clients, together with the bankers.

  • Manage documentation flows (archiving and processing physical and electronic forms).

  • Lead KYC information gathering where required and update complementary documents in the systems when needed.

  • Process workflow requests in the systems (client codifications, credit card requests, credit lines, pricing exceptions, etc.) and ensue that the relevant client documentation is captured.

  • Close coordination closely with the zone’s Business Risk Manager to resolve any risk and compliance matters.

  • Lead and organise the prioritisation and remediation of Key Risk Indicators in the team.

  • Adhere to all existing policies and directives and support the implementation of new ones, where needed.

  • Process payments and transfers while ensuring call backs are systematically performed and support for other transactional activity where needed.

  • Build close relationships with relevant internal stakeholders

  • Support assistance with administrative tasks when required.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or similar relevant qualification, with a minimum of five years’ experience in a similar function.

  • Fluent in German and English; other languages required by the markets covered would be a plus.

  • Understand client documentation and internal processes of a wealth manager.

  • Familiar with regulatory dimensions (cross-border, R&C, PEP, CARA, FATCA, CRS etc).

  • Attention to detail.

  • Reliable and resilient, with a strong sense of responsibility and an ability to multi-task.

  • Solutions-oriented and proactive mindset.

  • Strong team spirit and ability to work independently.

  • The selected candidate must be resident in Switzerland.
