What's the role?


We are looking for workplace engineer with great passion for device testing, evaluation and management by working closely with vendors (Microsoft, HP, Lenovo, Apple). We expect positive disruptions and automation in device management at Hilti along with Modem Device Management, BYOD and personalized workplaces to provide great user experience.

What does the role involve?


You will work closely with the regions and business partners to analyse and understand the client devices (laptop, PCs, printers, tablets, AR/VR headsets, smartphones, etc) that they need in their daily work life. You will collaborate closely with vendors (Microsoft, HP, Lenovo, Apple, etc) and engineers from Network/Software teams for preparing the right workplaces for various types of end-users at Hilti. You will be involved in device certification, troubleshooting (3rd level support), Operating System management, Modern Device Management (Intune/Autopilot), BYOD, virtual desk and client security. We will be maintaining the communication and marketing for update the end-users on the latest available workplaces for them as well as a proper monitoring system for alerting us on any device issues.

What you need is:



  • Subject Matter Expert in one of the following areas: Windows devices / Apple Devices / Operating System / Smartphones / BYOD / Modern Device Management (Intune/Autopilot) / Client security (Windows ATP, client scanning, hardware encryption, security risk-threats-prevention)

  • 2 years of technical experience in IT workplace and the willingness to grow in technical area for 2-5 years

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related fields

  • Fluent in English, document writing, vendor/stakeholder management

  • Passion for reporting, critical analysis and innovation
