Job Description

We are looking for you as our new Senior SharePoint Developer (m/f/x). In this role, you will be part of the Corporate Collaboration Services team. With your proven experience in an international environment as well as strong communications skills, you will interact with cross-functional teams and other external partners. You are an independent, persistent and team oriented professional with a growth mindset and a sense of humor, happy sharing your knowledge and working in a hands-on environment.  The position is based in Basel, Switzerland and reports to the Head of Corporate Collaboration Services.

• Conception, development (backend & frontend) and implementation of sophisticated applications based on SharePoint Online


• Architectural design, conception and administration of the entire SharePoint Online platform of Straumann Group


• Business analysis and consultancy in course of the conception and implementation of digital workflows with Nintex, MS Flow and Visual Studio


• Definition of development guidelines and standards


• Independent professional leadership in planning, coordination and implementation of development projects, also working as Product Owner and/or Scrum Master


• Leading and collaboration with off- and near-shore development teams


• Evaluation and introduction of new Microsoft cloud services


• Ensuring the reliability and performance of all Straumann custom applications

Qualifications

• Degree in business informatics / computer science or specialist in computer science with equivalent experience


• Very good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, SPFX, C#, ASP.NET and PowerShell


• Good knowledge of Visual Studio Team Services


• Experience of compliance with quality standards in the development process


• Deep knowledge of application design and sound knowledge in the administration of SharePoint Online


• In-depth knowledge and experience to analyze and digitize business processes


• Very good knowledge in software development (procedures, techniques, regulations)


• Broad knowledge of data and interface modeling


• Microsoft MCPD/MCSD SharePoint are an advantage


• Experience with agile project management and software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum)


• Very good analytical skills, abstraction skills, problem-solving skills, as well as strong teamwork and stress resistance


• Fluent in spoken and written German and English


• Team player with a growth mindset
