Senior Financial Analyst
The Senior Financial Analyst FP&A supports the Financial Planning & Analysis team with month-end closing and reporting activities, budget and forecast processes, implementation of changes and optimizations. He/ she is involved in projects and ensures compliance with external and internal practices.
Responsibilities
Closing / Analysis
Prepare the monthly closing files to facilitate closing activities
Support the variance analysis review for total Business Unit
(P&L on Actuals -RE/BP/PY)
Consolidates variance analysis for period end closing and provide business explanations
Lead the monthly reporting activities for GM report and Management Pack
Coordinate Working Capital Management reviews and ensure transparency on Working Capital elements
Planning
Support the coordination of Budget and RE activity and consolidation
Take a lead in Balance Sheet planning
Ensure timely submission of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow in the system
Support and prepare interim forecasts for P&L and Working Capital, requesting business insight explanations
Others
Financial support for cross functional ad-hoc projects
Partners with x-Finance stakeholders to facilitate all Group FP&A and Regional Finance requests
Support the development and implementation of analytical models
Proactively share knowledge and findings with peers in Finance and x-Finance stakeholders
Proactively enhance own business knowledge and use in analysis explanations
Requirements
Experience / Education
Degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar field with relevant specialization in Accounting and/ or Controlling.
3-5 years professional experience in a similar Reporting/Planning/Analysis position, ideally in the consumer goods industry.
