This diversified and demanding work offers in addition to an intercultural and international environment the following:

Your tasks:

• Operation of the LAN of Burckhardt Compression (Winterthur / LAN)


• LAN support at our subsidiaries


• Operation of the global WAN


• Operation of the global communication security (IDS, Firewall, VPN etc.)


• Manage changes and incidents in the system


• Design of the LAN and WAN architecture for collaboration


• Monitoring and maintaining the system with external partners


• Release for updates / installations


• Project realization according to design and architecture
   

You are good at it:

• Project Management


• Networked and analytical thinking, problem-solving


• Working in an international, virtual and global environment


• Change processes and change documentation


• Overview of network components, suppliers including security and the ability to describe, document and manage global and large systems
   

What we expect by you:

• Computer science education or comparable professional experience and supplemented by a bachelor's degree in business administration or bachelor's degree in Information Technology


• at least 2 years of work experience in LAN and WAN management in an international environment

• Knowledge of communication security, d. H. Experience with Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
