BSA - Bobst Mex SAApply nowYou will join our IT team and you will be in charge of implementing digital simulation tools and best practices for the field of digital simulation. You will be the technical IT expert to link our solution providers and user representatives.The numerical simulation expert will be responsible for developing, advising and being the main contact for numerical simulation users in the group. He or she will report to the Engineering Solutions Manager and work in partnership with the cross-functional teams and experts in our organization, particularly with the Additive Manufacturing Lab team and the Digital Simulation team.

  

As a successful candidate, you will have proven expertise in digital simulation tools and will contribute to the development and deployment of these solutions within the group.

  

 Main focus:



  • Partner management: Work closely with the Group's IT and R&D specialists to design, implement, maintain and adapt applications in the field of digital simulation.

  • Technical expertise:

    • Collect, formalize and understand the needs of users of digital simulation solutions in order to implement the appropriate tools and establish the implementation strategy.

    • Master the End to End Additive Manufacturing process (topology optimization, process and physics simulation).


  • Knowledge management: establish good practices, document them, and provide training and support to users.

This position requires well-rounded set of skills, a high level of energy and enthusiasm, flexibility and organization savviness to drive cross-functional initiatives, learn new skills:

   

  • Education: M.S. or PhD degree (EPF or equivalent) in an Mechanical Engineering related field,

  • Proven expertise in FEM, structural, fatigue analysis, and Fluid Dynamics analysis,

  • Very good knowledge with a FEM software (e.g., ANSYS, ADAMS, FLUENT, SIMULIA, ABAQUS), with CFD software and with a CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SOLIDWORKS),

  • Strong analytical thinking, problem solver and teamwork capabilities,

  • Some international travel required to our worldwide locations,

  • Proficient in English and French, written and oral communication skills are critically important,

  • Project Management knowledge - PMP certifications a plus.
