Software Engineer C++ (f/m) for Terrestrial Laser Scanners

• Development of robust and efficient cross-platform applications using latest C++ standards and Qt libraries


• Participate in all the stages of the development process, including research, design, implementation, integration, testing and deployment


• High performance and realtime realizations of terrestrial laser scanning workflows with focus on various embedded hardware platforms


• Design and implementation of software components and algorithms in the area of 3D reconstruction based on laser scanning and imaging data


• Ensuring the product quality by writing software on high standards based on clean code principles and using automated tests


• Potential to act as main interface between external software development centre within Europe and world wide partners

 

This is you

• A relevant university qualification (Bachelor / Master) in computer science, mathematics or engineering


• Proficiency in software development using languages such as modern C++ and Python


• Strong software engineering background (design patterns, clean code and TDD)


• Ability and willingness to contribute to the architecture and design of the software components


• Knowledge in the area of GPU's and parallel image processing algorithms is advantageous (OpenCL, OpenCV, CUDA)


• Knowledge of Qt/QML, Boost and CMake is also considered an asset


• Strong communication skills in English, ability to work in an intercultural and distributed located agile environment
