Senior Oversight and Reporting Compliance Consultant 80-100%

In this role you will support the Head of Methodology, Oversight & Reporting to further develop and maintain group level Compliance oversight and reporting procedures and solutions. You will continuously refine procedures and solutions enabling for regular reporting at group and subsequently at regional and local level.


Furthermore, you will contribute to the execution of oversight of the global Compliance function and reporting activities. The role has a key obligation to contribute to the overall development of the function e.g., by defining clear processes and deliverables supporting the effective execution of the Compliance mandate.

 
Your Role
 

As a Senior Oversight and Reporting Compliance Consultant your main responsibilities will involve:



  • Developing, implementing, administering and continuously enhancing the functional oversight and reporting methodologies and procedures

  • Contribute to providing monthly functional management reporting, and quarterly reporting to the Executive Committee and Audit Committee as well as interacting with other assurance providers and Group Legal to ensure Compliance related topics are adequately integrated in reports where relevant and that relevant actions are being tracked and completed

  • Analyzing and interpreting compliance relevant information and draw conclusions to ensure appropriate oversight and enhancing the focus on insight, content and action

  • Ascertaining that relevant Compliance documents (incl. Zurich Compliance Program, Zurich Compliance Charter) are continuously updated, maintained and disseminated in the organization

  • Contribute to evaluating, implementing, enhancing and administering a technical solution allowing efficient and effective functional reporting and related data retention

  • Ensuring coordination and alignment within the global Compliance community as well as with other Group functions e.g., Risk Management and Audit, as required


 

Your Skills and Experience


 

As a Senior Oversight and Reporting Compliance Consultant your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

 

  • Professional education (University level) preferably in Economics, Business Administration, Law or Risk Management

  • Information Technology (IT) – Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) are a must. Experience with Compliance Management IT-systems are a plus

  • Advanced skills and experience in pro-active problem solving, issue identification, impact assessment and option development (conceptualization) as well as recommendation development

  • Experience in running compliance processes and working in a global function

  • Excellent relationship management and influencing skills

  • Risk Management experience and first hand assurance know-how are a plus

  • Strong written and verbal communication (incl. presentation) skills

  • In-depth practical knowledge of Insurance business model and operations, Insurance products and Insurance regulations and regulatory developments is an advantage

  • Superior skills in service delivery

  • Project portfolio management and change management skills is a plus

  • Excellent command of English is required. German and any additional language would be an asset.
