The EMEA Professional Education Manager iTero Ortho is passionate about Education as well as Clinical Affairs and has a strong record of accomplishment building effective and scalable education programs in a fast-paced and complex organization.  You are results oriented, a strategic thinker, and an enthusiastic educator.  As the Professional Education Manager iTero Ortho, you are prepared to liaise with content subject matter experts from across the organization to develop and deliver practical educational and certification programs for go-to-market strategies, education methodology, messaging, processes and systems. The scope of the role spans the entire iTero education journey for EMEA and will be responsible for the development of scientific, evidence-based iTero Clinical Education curriculum, content, educational resources, and web content that is consistent and supportive of Aligns marketing strategies. This individual will report directly to the EMEA Manager, Professional Education iTero.


In this role, you will…



  • Create, establish, implement and deliver a EMEA education strategy for the iTero scanning product portfolio that spans the entire learning journey

  • Identification, Management and Development of Key Opinion Leaders to support iTero clinical education programs

  • Collaborate cross functionally to support the regions to develop regional educational strategies

  • Partner with marketing on the development of education plans and curriculum

  • Define, design, develop and deploy the on-boarding and continuing education strategy

  • Deploy innovative, scalable solutions that accelerate learning and increase productivity for the sales roles which includes training needs analysis plus related materials

  • Conception and coordination of lectures, webinars and clinical training activities

  • Implement a competency based approach to iTero training and education

  • Create, aggregate and manage all iTero training and education assets and content management

  • Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of education programs

  • Deliver monthly/quarterly reports to key stakeholders

  • Manage expenses in accordance with the team budget

  • Take responsibility for own personal development in line with agreed annual performance objectives.

  • Ensuring that the best commercial outcome is delivered from the resources available


In this role, you’ll need …



  • Candidate needs to possess a natural ease in dealing with people, an ability to present themselves with confidence, speak before a large audience with conviction, a mature thought process to create training material relevant to their audience, spontaneity to respond to difficult situations with ease, a good sense of humour, loads of enthusiasm and most importantly a passion for iTero

  • Demonstrated experience in design of learning materials and curriculum; ability to incorporate new research materials into clinical programs

  • Demonstrated presentation skills/training background for adult learners and knowledge of current instructional methodologies including e-learning strategies

  • Able to build and foster successful relationships with both external and internal customers

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • An experienced, motivational educator, detail oriented and strategic thinking subject matter expert

  • Committed to delivering on company goals and objectives

  • Ability to solve a variety of challenging tasks



  • Multi-lingual a plus

  • Dental Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of related clinical experience and 3 years of didactic and clinical teaching experience in academia

  • Demonstrated field sales experience in the medical or dental fields a plus

  • Proven record of working with and influencing KOL, sales professionals and sales leadership

  • Proficiency with teaching in a virtual classroom environment, Learning Management Systems, Articulate Storyline or other authoring software.

  • Strong attention to detail, business writing, project management and interpersonal communications

  • Highly process oriented, with the ability to create and document programs that scale

  • Highly efficient with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat Pro

  • Knowledge of SFDC and digital platforms
