For our client, a well-known trading and investment company in Zurich, we are currently looking for a highly professional and experienced personality for leading the legal department on a fixed-term basis with immediate start.




Tätigkeiten:

• Advise on contracts, legal issues and legal implications of business initiatives and provide business-minded hands on solutions

• Support contract negotiations

• Develop and implement local policies

• Minimize legal risks by offering standard templates and reviewing legally relevant procedures

• Legal support to cross-functional projects

• Manage litigation proceedings and coordinate outside counsel

• Closely monitor relevant areas of legislation and political developments relevant for the business and advise the organization as well as senior management accordingly

• Establish and maintain relevant relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Reporting lines within matrix structure


Anforderungen:

• Master of law (bar admission in Switzerland or international LLM a plus)

• 5-8 years relevant professional experience

• Profound financial and business understanding as well as experienced in financial products

• Sound knowledge in banking law and contract law

• Very good understanding of governance issues

• Strong organisational and leadership skills

• Effective communicator with strong negotiation and relationship management skills

• Team player, structured and efficient working methods


Sprachen: Proficient in German and English (w/s)
