You will be part of an international project team providing solutions to our clients in the industry segments Mining, Aluminium and Cement, covering complete plant electrification, mainly in power distribution systems, having day-to-day interaction and contact with various parties both internally and externally. We are looking for candidates with strong academic background in the area power distribution systems ideally complemented by practical experience. The role requires high level of motivation and ownership complemented with ambition, drive, energy, innovation and the desire to learn and grow professionally.
Project activities:
- Develop electrical detail design of Industrial Plants including development of control and protection concept
- Development of design specifications in context of whole project is one of the day to day work activities (cable route, lightning, grounding, fire detection, telephone system including related studies such as cable-, illumination-, grounding calculation, etc.) with electrical AutoCAD, 3D
- Work with various equipment suppliers during project design and fabrication period to assure delivery of equipment according to project requirement
- Work with project team members in various disciplines (such as control systems, power distribution, drives and motors) in order to align all interfaces towards power distribution systems equipment and designs
- This job includes traveling for various purposes such as: travelling to customer and electrical supplier offices for technical meetings, travelling to supplier factories for equipment tests (FAT), traveling to industrial customer sites worldwide for the purpose of installation supervision, trouble shooting, test and energization of equipment and systems. The candidate must be ready for assignments abroad – 10 to 30 % of his time
Sales activities (Bid and Proposal):
- Support sales department technically during bid and proposal phase
- Review of customer equipment specification and preparation of sales specification for energy distribution equipment and engineering services
- Graduate candidates with Bachelor degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- Ideally >2 year of experience in the field of installation
- Excellent command of English (C1), both written and spoken. Other language such as Russian, Spanish, French, Italian etc. is an advantage
- Well-developed communication skills with excellent self-starting abilities and structured approach to work
- Willingness to travel abroad 10-30% of working time (typically short term trips days to weeks, occasionally mid-term trips up to several months).
