Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) Mechanical Systems
Our Compliance Verification department has an immediate opening for a CVE Mechanical Systems.

What you do:
Communicate and co-operate with the Airworthiness Authorities
Help define certification basis of new Type Design and Changes to Type Design
Review and approve type certification documentation such as Certification Programmes, Qualification Test Plans and Reports, Safety Analyses (FHAs. PSSAs, SSAs), Test Plans, Compliance Documents (Engineering Reports) and Compliance Check Lists
Classify Changes to Type Design into minor or major and approve minor changes
Assist in the analysis and interpretation of the airworthiness requirements and the establishment of compliance methodology guidelines
Support the engineering organisation in responding to Special Conditions and applying for Equivalent Safety Findings
Verify that engineering reports, conformity documentation and test programs comply with the applicable regulations (EASA Part 21 and CS/FAR 23)
Witness certification testing, including qualification tests
Verify the technical content of Flight Manuals and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness
What you bring:
Bachelor degree in a related engineering discipline, from an accredited institution
At least 5 years' experience in aerospace, with knowledge of most if not all of the following: mechanical systems, system design & development (ARP 4754A), safety assessments (SAE 4754/4761), qualification (RTCA DO-160G), flight test and continued airworthiness
Working knowledge and experience of civil certifications in the field of Mechanical Systems (previous compliance verification experience would be an advantage)
Knowledge of EASA Part 21 requirements (Subparts A, B, D, J, M, P)
Some knowledge of operational requirements (eg. EASA Air Ops) is preferable
