Regional Sales Leader – Account acquisition, initial focus on Switzerland


Summary

For our European expansion with an initial focus on Switzerland, we are looking for a sales leader that will grow our business and teams in this geography. This is an opportunity to evolve with the company and lead its developments to more markets in the coming years.


Mission / Responsibilities


  • Co-develop and implement our go-to-market strategy

  • Manage and grow existing accounts

  • Acquire and grow new accounts

  • Manage the entire sales cycle with those accounts from initial contact, to proposal, to negotiations, to contracting, to delivery, to upsell, to support

  • Develop a diverse, dynamic, and winning sales team

  • Set and achieve clear sales targets

  • Position and represent DEPsys externally to industry stakeholders and influencers

  • Liaise with DEPsys teams regarding customer needs and market developments

  • Work with internal resources on technical proposals

  • Co-develop and champion sales processes such as forecasting, pipeline management, opportunity qualification, etc.


Desired qualifications


  • 7+ years of software sales or sales-related experience in complex, technical, solution-oriented B2B business. Ideally Energy or Telecom sector

  • Experience in creating new markets, positioning disruptive technology solutions to traditional buyers

  • Proven understanding of smart grids and/or IoT is a real plus

  • Good technical knowledge and understanding of network data management concepts and issues

  • German first language or equivalent level, excellent command of English, French is a plus
