For the European Headquarter, based in Winterthur (Switzerland), we are looking for a

Finance Manager 100%

In this multifaceted position you will be ensuring efficient and effective accounting services in transactional accounting areas. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the general ledger management, holding entities accounting, tax projects, intercompany financing as well as the preparation of monthly financial statements.

Your main responsibilities:

• Preparation and maintenance of accounting records and financial reports in accordance with corporate guidelines, corporate timelines and generally accepted accounting principles, management responsibility for approx. 20 holding entities in multiple European jurisdictions (including Switzerland, Luxemburg, Holland).


• Ensure statutory compliance of all holdings and the liaison with internal and external auditors.


• Be a part of the CMFT integration team and support the merger of this business into Principal structure, co-pilot the integration of the Order to Cash process.


• Coordinate efforts amongst all EMEA entities involved in various tax restructuring projects.


• Close liaison with the tax and legal department, ensuring adherence to and alignment between legal documents (articles of associations, resolutions etc) with accounting records.


• Act as a main point of contact for external statutory service providers.


• Participate in further M&A activities and business integrations within EMEA region.


• Implement and provide guidance on US GAAP accounting and reporting based on corporate guidance and instructions.


• Participate in the implementation and improvement of appropriate accounting and reporting systems for internal projects


• Review and approve account reconciliations and ensure up to date quality of accounts.

• Maintenance of internal controls to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

Your Qualifications and Experience:

• Master degree / MBA / CPA or similar required in accounting/finance


• 5-7 years of experience in a broad-based manufacturing environment is preferred


• Extensive knowledge of (US GAAP) accounting principles, financial close processes and CoA


• Knowledge of Swiss GAAP is a plus


• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, SAP and database management


• Experience with consolidation software, preferably Hyperion


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle increasing levels of responsibility


• Outstanding interpersonal and strong analytical skills


• Ability to communicate in German and English both orally and in written form in a clear and concise manner
