We are looking for a mid-level Salesforce developer to join our team!

The ideal candidate has experience providing customization, development, enhancement and support on the Salesforce platform. You have a passion for clean and scalable code, but you know when configuration trumps development. You have an eye for detail and an appreciation for good UX/UI.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multi-cultural team of developers


• Work with the product owner to continually improve the product quality


• Interact with our global team of school and sales staff as well as central teams


• Contribute to software architecture and help shape the development process


• Cooperate with our design team to create beautiful UI


• Create task effort estimates to support effective planning


• Write code!

The ideal candidate must have

• 3+ years of professional experience including 2+ years of SFDC development experience


• Firm understanding of Salesforce design patterns and platform restrictions


• Experience building Apex classes, triggers and VisualForce pages/components


• Experience with Community Cloud, Sales Cloud, Force.com


• Experience with REST webservices, in/out bound


• Understanding of OOP and SOLID design principles


• Understanding of agile software development and the scrum process


• Ability to work in a team and pair with another developer to create solutions


• Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal

Even better

• Certified Salesforce Platform Developer


• Experience with Lightning, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Platform Event, Heroku


• Knowledge of Javascript, CSS, HTML


• Understanding of database design and RDBMS principles


• Knowledge of SQL and SSIS/SSRS


• Knowledge of a server-side language such as Java or C#


• Experience using Git with Salesforce / Salesforce DX


• Experience with Jira and Confluence

Education

B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
