We are recruiting a Salesforce Developer & Team Lead in Zurich to work with a dynamic and international team. We are looking for someone with a solid track record in Salesforce technology, able to lead a team to deliver the highest quality technical solutions to the organization. This is a unique opportunity to design and direct the architecture. The role

As a Salesforce Developer & Team Lead, you own the performance and architecture of our Salesforce implementation in key areas such as sales, finance, booking management, student academic management, scheduling, customer experience and customer portals. You will manage the team of Salesforce developers, Salesforce administrators and Web developers, ensuring a solid and transparent development process, high-performing systems and solutions delivery. You will work closely with the product owners and the VP of Technology to build & deliver a technical strategy aligned with the business strategy.  You are able to easily articulate complex technical setup to the business and you are an ambassador for technology within the organization.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the systems ecosystem at EF Academy, ensuring adherence to development, security and Salesforce best practices, including storage control, upgrades, testing, builds & deployment


• You manage the development team & their processes, including ensuring technical documentation to the highest standard


• You design and deliver solid technical solutions that are secure, compliant, scalable and functional, favouring standard Salesforce functionality over customization


• You manage internal and external integrations and APIs


• You evaluate complex business and technical requirements, communicating inherent security risks and solutions to technical and non-technical business owners


• You express the strengths of the Salesforce platform, while understanding where other portfolio products can most effectively integrate to achieve the most stable and productive overall solution

Position requirements - Must have

• You have 5+ years’ experience in enterprise, application and information architecture methodologies and design and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience


• You have 3+ years’ experience with the Salesforce platform, APIs and other portfolio products (Classic and Lightning), such as Marketing Cloud and Heroku


• You have experience with other technologies such as databases e.g. MS SQL Server, as well as other development languages and frameworks on web and desktop like C# .Net, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, ReactJS/AngularJS, or similar


• You have experience leading a technology team and maintaining the highest development standards, using agile methodologies and love developing people


• Technical degree required, masters preferred


• You have experience designing and implementing technology strategy and can clearly communicate your vision


• You have experience working with consultants and in-house teams


• You are fluent in English, spoken and written
