For the Digital Landscape Department within Karger Factory, we are looking for a motivated person to join our dynamic team as a

Infrastructure Analyst (100%)

In this role you will be expected to develop, operate, maintain and secure Karger’s IT infrastructure services including networks, servers and cloud infrastructure.

This multifaceted role includes:

• General Office 365 / AD / Azure administration, including policies, security and services


• Administration and management of virtual servers (EMC VNXe / VMware)


• Infrastructure and service monitoring


• Maintenance and operation of Windows Servers, Terminal Servers and IIS webservers including the synchronization of digital product archives


• Ensuring that systems are effectively backed up and data is secured (Backup Exec / Veem)


• 3rd level support for the Service Desk including possible site visits in other countries


• Maintenance and operation security tools such as Microsoft ATP security suite (Defender, Azure ATP, Cloud ATP), Imperva WAF and Cisco firewalls


• Security monitoring and threat investigations

Qualifications and experience required:

• Swiss IT apprenticeship or a bachelor’s degree in a computer-related discipline


• At least two years’ experience in a similar infrastructure position


• Good experience of Active Directory and Office365 administration, including PowerShell scripting


• Good experience of working with Azure cloud infrastructure and virtual servers (Cloud based and VMWare)


• Experience in securing systems and infrastructure (specific experience with Microsoft ATP suite, Incapsula WAF, Cisco Firewall products beneficial)


• Professional qualifications, e.g., Microsoft certification related to our key technologies and services


• Readiness for on-call service


• Language skills – German and English very good (written and spoken)
