WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead architecture design and implementation of web applications and tools


• You care about performance


• Design major new features and demonstrate an understanding of development and platform constraints


• Help to drive and deliver projects alongside your team


• Improve the robustness and reliability of the codebase and devote time to polishing products and systems


• Come up with ideas how to present the measured data to our customers, so that they understand how to improve their office space (data visualisation)


• Help improving user flows and the overall user experience of our web apps


• Work on our mobile and digital signage apps to display real-time information to employees in the office


• Teach small groups of developers and contribute to Locatee’s shared knowledge base


• Set the tone for projects by taking a leadership role, setting the pace and facilitating team processes


• Positively influence the reputation of Locatee in the wider tech community


• Help bring in great candidates for hire; participate in interview processes, help the team make meaningful, diverse hiring decisions


• Contribute and lead your own ideas in our agile development process

WHAT YOU BRING

• Strong experience in designing and developing responsive web applications with HTML5, CSS (SASS) and JavaScript (TypeScript)


• Angular is your daily business


• Experience with Webpack


• Experience of front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap


• Experience with Git


• Strong background in development best-practices like testing, source control and agile planning


• Creative mind with a sense for great products and engineering


• Aware of industry best practices and trends that have at least one major skill outside of core coding, such as monitoring, documentation, integration testing, visual design or performance optimization


• Continuously improve our code base, systems and processes


• Great teammate, entrepreneurial mindset


• Inspire a small group of people, actively pushing them to stretch themselves


• Keen to help create positive, supportive, engaging team environment


• Excellent communications skills in English (written and spoken)
