The People department is looking for an
HR Manager who loves what it means to be a people person. You are eager to become a vital part of the organization by impacting not only the team, but also by helping nurture, facilitate and streamline Appway's internal procedures. Not only are you able to tackle the day-to-day administration with ease but also find and bring in the best talent, as well as support the team in various projects and initiatives.

Focus Area



  • Ensure an efficient and professional HR administration (e.g. on- and off-boarding, issuing employment contracts, agreements and various certificates, dealing with insurance etc.)

  • Source talents actively, schedule and conduct interviews, develop job descriptions with hiring managers, post open positions, promote employee referrals and attend career events, develop and implement talent acquisition and employer brand initiatives

  • First point of contact for all employees on HR matters, champion people development

  • Support the setup, the implementation and optimization of HR processes and assist in various HR projects and initiatives


We're looking for someone with



  • A passion for people and someone who enjoys working in a fast growing, fast paced environment

  • Excellent analytical skills to solve problems and bring solutions to increase the business' success

  • A proven track record in being an HR Generalist / HR Manager (a must)

  • A proven track record in sourcing the best talent

  • An independent working style as well as being a team player

  • A demonstrated long, successful track record in a start-up or midsize organization, tech company a plus

  • Strong knowledge of Swiss Labor Law (a must have!), US and any other Labor Law experience (a plus)

  • 8+ years of experience in Human Resources

  • Bachelors or Masters in Human Resources, MBA or similar

  • Must have impeccable English and German skills, written and verbal
