We are now looking for anexperienced person like:


ORACLE Service desk level 3 manager Basel


TASKSAND RESPONSIBILITIES As the manager of the 8 people service desk team, locatedin Delémont (Ju) but covering Delémont and Basel you will be in charge of very sensitiveand critical database environments such as Nuclear Power Plants, Hospitals orPharmaceutical industries. Your mission will be to support the corporateaccounts, providing reliable services and support.


Typicalaccountabilities include but are not limited to:


  • Team management

  • Customer contact

  • Oracle Incident Management (Real Application Cluster, Tuning, Oracle Database Appliance)

  • Other SGBD-R Incident Management such as PostgreSQL and MySQL under Linux and Windows environments with Virtualization technologies

  • Service desk tickets management

  • CMDB maintenance and administration

  • YOURPROFILE You demonstrate strongmanagement skills, active listening skills, are curious, well-organized and naturallyinclined to communicate and share your knowledge. You do not crack underpressure and are able to manage multiple activities keeping in mind yourobjectives as well as the client requirements. You are passionate aboutdatabase technologies and aim to develop your technical skills by passingcertifications (Oracle, ITIL, aso, etc.). Fluency in German (ideally mothertongue) as well as in English (spoken and written) is a must.


    WORK experience and education


  • Superior school diploma in IT sciences

  • Management skills

  • Confirmed experience in managing and administrating production databases

  • Oracle certification such as OCP (Oracle Certified Professional)

  • ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification is a plus)

  • Confirmed experience in an IT Service Desk support is a plus
