Procurement Specialist Full-Time

Verity Studios is looking for a skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist. Reporting to the Head of Operations, the successful candidate will operationally execute Verity’s procurement process and work with a portfolio of suppliers, to achieve company operating requirements. Within the realm of procurement, the successful candidate will possess a sharp, commercial mindset with an affinity for driving accountability, using data and analytics, while employing a negotiating style. From the viewpoint of Verity to the supplier, the successful candidate will partner deeply with internal stakeholders to understand requirements in order to act as an effective advocate of company interests. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in a similar role in a technology-driven company.

Responsibilities


• Responsible for the full breadth of procurement activities, from vendor qualification, contract negotiation and agreement through execution of the procure to pay cycle
• Compare supplier offers, along cost, quality and service dimensions, making final supplier selection
• Work with Verity internal stakeholders to understand supplier critical requirements
• Embed and memorialize performance expectations across cost, quality and service dimensions into a final, negotiated contract agreement
• Measure supplier performance across cost, quality and service dimensions
• Train Verity team members concerning acceptable quality of received goods and actions to take in event of non-conforming goods
• Execute the procure to pay process including goods receipt and 3 way PO to invoice to delivery receipt match


Qualifications

• Commercial apprenticeship with further education in strategic sourcing and procurement or university degree in a relevant discipline
• 3 years’ experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or similar
• Proven track record and knowledge of procurement procedures and policies
• Good business judgement, negotiation and organizational skills
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners
• Good written and spoken German and English language skills are a must
• Good PC and Microsoft Office skills, with proficiency in Excel and Word
• Excellent team player with a broad view and consideration for the whole of the Verity team and team objectives
• Self-driven, self-starter, motivated, enthusiastic
