Work closely with BD Leader and Steam Power leadership to develop execution plans for key BD project
Work closely with the Steam Power Finance organization on all M&A-related financial issues including valuation, deal structuring and accounting issues
Lead and conduct financial evaluations related to business, industry, and competitor analysis, together with Steam Power Regions to develop strategies to support Steam Power business growth and profitability
Conduct financial analysis on Steam Power acquisition, divestiture, partnership and licensing decisions
Evaluate, analyze and counsel in the preparation and execution of acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and other business combinations
Evaluate prospective BD opportunities in various stages of evaluation or execution simultaneously
Prepare executive level presentations for leadership reviews as needed
Build and maintain a network with external advisors and banks to stay current on key market trends and opportunities
Help the BD leader to develop and track business development budget
Help the BD team to understand the various business unit goals and proactively identify inorganic opportunities to meet them
