Responsible for R&D Department according to the valid organization chart, currently comprising the groups for Analog & Digital Design, Project Management, Technology Development, Product Engineering and EDA
Create and improve the environment for customer driven development projects
Development of Wafer processing technology and related IP to support the strategic position of ESPROS Photonics AG
Develop products according to the specification, on time and within the cost budget
Develop, implement and maintain the product roadmap together with the Sales Team
Improve and optimize all topics related to cost savings and yield improvement in ESPROS Photonics production flow in order to enable smooth production volume ramps and reliable product deliveries to customers
Support the growth of ESPROS Photonics by enabling strategic partnerships with customers, creating business opportunities by new product ideas or process improvements
Support the qualification of ESPROS Photonics products and technology
Create and maintain a well structured R&D organization based on a best talent selection for the leadership positions
Be an actively involved leader that guides by his own good example and outstanding expertise
Care for complete and traceable documentation of all relevant results in the R&D organization, including documents for production, sales, qualification, project management and customers
Active employee development with the aim to form senior engineers from talents with the priorities 1. social and 2. professional aspects
Your skills
Masters or PhD degree in physics or microelectronics or electronics
Strong leadership and communication skills
>5 years experience in a leading position in semiconductor industry
Fluent English skills
