We need you to join our Quality team at Männedorf, Zürich as

Quality Engineer – Design Control / Software 80-100%

What you will do

In this role you will actively represent the Quality Engineering function for the product development teams.
 
Responsibilities will include

• Apply knowledge of design control principles and quality engineering techniques to positively influence new product development efforts, including those for design verification, validation, requirements development, and risk management


• Hands on participation in early stages of product development, - providing support and guidance for the project development teams to ensure that the design process, design reviews, verification and validation, risk management activities as well as transfer from research and development to manufacturing are executed and documented according to ISO 13485/IVD/QSR requirements, and follow Tecan processes, procedures and templates


• Support the identification and control of risks throughout the development process with the use of risk management tools


• Collaborate closely with R&D department and other quality engineers


• Support the evaluation and validation of product and process test methods


• Review verification and validation documentation to ensure that regulatory requirements and quality objectives are met


• Participates and provides input to design and manufacturing drawings, inspection procedures, and manufacturing procedures to ensure that the resulting products can be adequately manufactured and tested

What you bring along

• B.S. degree in engineering or science field


• 5 years’ relevant job experience

Solid understanding of:

• Quality Engineering


• Risk Management


• Statistical Techniques


• ISO 13485, EN ISO 14971_2012, IEC/EN 62304:2015, IEC/EN 62366 (IEC TR 62366:2-2016)


• Design Control


• Self-motivated and committed to teamwork and collaboration


• Solid interpersonal and organizational skills


• Solid oral, presentation and technical writing skills


• Fluency in English as well as good level in German
