The focus of the internships is to support the launch of screw fastening tools from Hilti, which are improved by integrated sensors from Infineon Technologies. The aim of this project is to increase the efficiency as well as the quality of work and to relieve workers. This should be enabled by determining parameters that influence the quality of a screw connection. It aims to optimize the workflow by reducing the number of defects. This internship will take place in parallel to an internship at Infineon and will be synchronized by continuous alignment between both parties. .

As intern in our department you’ll be part of application driven concept development for next generation screw fastening tools. You’ll work closely with our experts to develop the next generation of screw fastening tools.
Your key responsibilities will be to identify and evaluate trends in user centered power tool development, to support the collaboration of Hilti and Infineon (two internships in parallel) and to generate ideas and concepts for screw fastening tools/systems (tool plus magazine) using smart features and connectivity.
