Equipment Engineer

The Equipment Engineer is part of the Production Engineering team. He/she is the main point of contact for the supported department of Engine Services Operation in terms of technical expertise, business cases and technical improvements. This function assures the supported departments operational readiness continuously by implementing and maintaining TPM, analyzing equipment effectively and providing smart technical solutions to reduce cost and TAT whilst maintaining all applicable standards.

Your tasks

 

• Promote a positive Safety Culture and to ensure that Safety and Quality Policy is communicated/promoted and implemented within the Organization


•  Ensure that all elements of the SMS are properly implemented, maintained and continuously improved by fulfilling all SMS related duties and responsibilities as defined in SMS Manual


• Provide administration and supervision of external partners on site


• Creation and maintenance of:   


•     Calibration instructions


•     Process maps


•     Technical templates (Process Parameter Sheets, Machine Setup etc.)


•     Work instructions
      TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Dossiers


•     TTE (Tool and Test Equipment equivalency documentations according Arinc 668 standard)


•     GEM (Ground Equipment Manuals)


•     SAP equipment database (ZITOOL)


• Implement LEAN by executing 5S, Kanban and Root Cause Analysis


• Execute Simple mechanical and manufacturing tasks


• Design and modification of equipment which is not COTS (commercial of the shelf)  

Your profile

 

•  Fluent in German (Level C1), can speak English (Level B2)


• Technical HF required, FH desired. Or 3-4 years of work experience


• Electric, Hydraulic, Pneumatic Level 3:
  Read, understand and apply simple schematics
  Troubleshooting by analytic exclusion of sources (Technical RCA)
  Develop solutions for repair & maintenance


• Proficient in MS Office
