Global Demand Planner

Location: 

Volketswil, CH

Contract Type: Permanent - full-timeDescription: 

 


Support all demand management tasks and steer monthly planning cycles & reporting. Secure and further develop mechanisms & tools for a precise forecast. Collaborate with, support and challenge regional planners to ensure a good forecasting knowledge in all markets. Be a sparring partner for different stakeholders within and outside the supply chain.


 


Your Responsibilities


Demand Planning


Ensure stable forecasting environment & processes



  • Safeguard availability of reliable data in SAP as basis for a precise production plan

  • Continuous improvement of planning software and setup

  • Develop and provide tailored planning support & trainings according to market needs

  • Improve FCA and bias

  • Constantly challenge status quo


Further develop and implement new planning concepts



  • Support S&OP roll-out in all markets and implement stable processes

  • Generate new concepts and ideas to work on better forecasting results and IT solutions


 


Allocation & stock management


Organizational lead of allocation and stock management



  • Ensure availability based on forecast

  • Monitor stock level of collateral items and take action if needed

  • Implement further KPIs for better control

  • Work with team on efficient and smooth processes


 


Your Profile



  • Relevant University Degree

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Proactive, structured and process oriented thinking

  • Ability to handle multiple projects with cross-functional teams

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to motivate others

  • SAP, MS-Office

  • Fluent in English
