For a collaboration between PSI's Laboratory for Micro- and Nanotechnology LMN and the large-scale facilities SLS and SwissFEL we are looking for a

Postdoctoral FellowNanofabrication of X-Ray optics for metrology applicationsYour tasks

• Development of techniques for the characterization of X-Ray optical components


• Development of techniques for the compensation of optical errors by diffractive and refractive elements, including the fabrication of such corrective elements


• Experimental demonstration of the methods at synchrotron and X-Ray laser facilities

Your profileThe successful candidate should have a PhD degree in physics or engineering. Hands-on experience in micro/nanofabrication technology, optics/diffractive optics, synchrotron radiation and scientific computing will be relevant to meet the challenges of the project. You should enjoy working in an interdisciplinary, multinational research environment. Being an enthusiastic researcher and a good teamplayer will help to ensure your success in completing your postdoctoral position in this exciting field of study.We offer
