In combination with two intensive one-week off-site training classes, focusing on important aspects of early career development, Leonteq Graduates will be offered insight opportunities across all departments to understand and build know-how in the mechanics of the structured investment product value chain. Graduate Risk Controller

 

Your tasks & responsibilities



  • Daily analysis and reporting on market and credit risks within Leonteq and on behalf of Platform Partners

  • Monitoring of risk exposures against limits

  • P&L explanation

  • Trade review

  • Independent price verification

  • Validation of pricing and hedging models

  • Monitoring and development of stress scenarios and Value at Risk

  • Operational risk assessment and event analysis

  • Regression tests on releases

  • Various projects


Training Structure



  • Derivatives: multi-asset, Greeks, hedging techniques

  • Structured Products: usage, representation, risks

  • System: Sophis, Bloomberg

  • Analysis techniques

  • Risk control frameworks – market, credit and operational risk

  • Risk methodology techniques – stress tests and Value at Risk

  • Process and control design and analysis

Our requirements



  • MBA or Master in Finance, Financial Engineering or a quantitative discipline

  • Attention to details

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, VBA, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Basic database skills (Access or SQL)

  • Team player

  • Fluent in English, written and spoken
