The Integrated Systems Laboratory is an accomplished laboratory that has been very active in integrated circuit (IC) development. Every year 10 to 20 ICs are manufactured as student or research projects. This is only possible through a strong support in the design process. We are looking for an IC-Design support engineer to help us with the issues related to the design flow, and back-end design process.
Support integrated circuit design efforts, help with tasks in verification, simulation and back end design. Collaborate with the Microelectroncis Design Center. Help with the bring up and test of manufactured chips.
The candidate should ideally have a Ph.D. in electrical engineering, have experience in IC design flows for modern technologies, have worked on the design and test of multiple integrated circuits. Good understanding of HDL design, digital circuit design, computer architecture and IC circuit testing.
