Chapter Head - Portfolio, Vendor, Risk & Compliance Services Chapter – Pharma IT CFSS

The Position

As Chapter Head of the Portfolio, Vendor, Risk & Compliance Services Chapter in the Pharma IT Cross Functional Solutions & Services (CFSS) organisation, you will translate the developments in your domain into strategy within the chapter and make sure it is well transferred to all chapter sections and aligned with other chapters. You will inspire Pharma Informatics strategy and help to shape the future of our organization. As a people manager you will coach and actively promote development of Chapter Section Leads and Chapter Members.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Anticipates and defines future needs, skills, capacity and sourcing of the Portfolio, Vendor, Risk & Compliance (PVRC) chapter in collaboration with other Chapter Heads for the whole of Pharma Informatics


• Role models/Leverages the insight of working across PI to inform strategic investment decisions and resource allocation


• Ensures best practice, governance and standards are applied globally, and ensures knowledge is shared across all chapter sections


• Develops Chapter capabilities, and coaches Chapter Section Leads / Heads and oversees their performance management


• Develops a vision and roadmap for skill development


• Coordinates with other Chapters as needed and encourages future industry and technology trend capabilities throughout the Chapter


• Build continuous improvement throughout the Chapter with a focus on increased IT efficiency, effectiveness, and capacity
