We’re currently looking for: QC Engineer With the following requirements: - University degree in Chemical Sciences, Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Physical or equivalent skills through demonstrated experience - Deep knowledge of RRP/Conventional Tobacco manufacturing process - At least 2 years of experience in laboratory accredited environment (ISO 17025) - Quality Management System knowledge, GLP principles is an asset - Project Management knowledge - Strong analytical skills, comfort around higher management and presentation skills - IT skills and experience with MS Office Package, especially with Microsoft Excel and Power Point - Fluent in French and English, both written and oral If you possess all of the above, then you are the one we want for our QA Central Lab Team, within the Product Testing Department in Philip Morris Products S.A., based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. As a QC Engineer, you will be responsible for providing high quality analytical data from tobacco products. This also includes improvement of current methods and/or validation of new analytical methodologies, so as to support the Reduced Risk Products (RRPs). Your specific responsibilities will be: - Promote and apply all rules concerning PMI Quality, Environment, Health and Safety. Report all situations requiring actions in order to minimize or eliminate risks exposure to personnel, and be in line with or ahead of any applicable Law requirements and Company standards. - Maintain and extend the analytical methodologies portfolio to efficiently support RRP and CC production and improve the level of confidence in analytical evidence in the long term - Ensure methodologies are validated in compliance with internal quality systems as well as the qualification of equipment - Apply proven scientific/engineering principles and practices with supervision and collaborate with relevant internal and external colleagues to analyze/improve controls systems, manufacturing applications - Contribute to a continued collaboration across PMI production facilities, affiliates, vendors, external resources to generate creative technical solutions and expertise for tackling existing issues and ensuring the efficiency of new projects - Coordinate and lead the activities and work tasks technicians in situations where a higher level of expertise is necessary to ensure the integrity/quality of the analytical results and/or the production quality, facility performance and business objectives are achieved Why work for us? 1.
