The Customer Acquisition Azure Application and Infrastructure Solution Specialist is a senior solution sales professional within our enterprise


sales organization, focused on bringing on new managed customers onto the Azure platform. A primary focus of the role is to execute the


Company’s key strategic focus of new customer acquisition by identifying, qualifying, and driving new Azure opportunities as well partnering


with our marketing and partner counterparts to accelerate acquisition at scale. You will lead a virtual team of technical, partner and consulting


resources to advance the sales process and achieve/exceed Azure customer acquisition goals, as well as Azure sales and usage/consumption


targets for application and infrastructure related workloads in your assigned accounts. You will build and maintain relationships with customers,


influence long-term strategic direction and act as a trusted advisor driving engagement at the CXO level, software developers and IT architects.


You will help customers evaluate our cloud platform for their applications, recommend solutions that meet their requirements, remove


roadblocks to deployment and drive customer satisfaction.


 


Primary accountabilities for this role include:


· 50% - Build and transform new markets and lead transformational shifts in our customers by effectively positioning the Azure


platform. Develop, communicate and provide high business impact solutions that enable digital transformation


· 30% - Disciplined in business-management; adaptable to a culture of accountability; build a strong and active business network; meets


sales targets and operational standards.


· 20% - Maintain and develop a positive Customer and Partner Experience (CPE)


Responsibilities


The Customer Acquisition Azure Application and Infrastructure Solution Specialist is a senior solution sales professional within our enterprise sales organization, focused on effectively positioning the Azure platform with managed customers. You will lead a virtual team of technical,


partner and consulting resources to advance the sales process and achieve/exceed Azure customer acquisition goals, as well as Azure sales and usage/consumption targets for application and infrastructure related workloads in your assigned accounts. You will build and maintain


relationships with customers, influence long-term strategic direction and act as a trusted advisor driving engagement at the CXO level, software developers and IT architects. You will help customers evaluate our cloud platform for their applications, recommend solutions that meet their


requirements, remove roadblocks to deployment and drive customer satisfaction.

Qualifications


Professional


· Experience. 5 - 7 years’ experience selling cloud services or application development services to large/global enterprise customers with


a focus on cloud application development and cloud infrastructure technologies preferred


· Account Management. Effective territory/account management: planning, opportunity qualification and creation, stakeholder and


executive communication needs analysis, value engineering, services/partner engagement, opportunity management, pipeline


management, and large dollar licensing and deal negotiation required


· Experience managing a large sales territory – as well as proven experience in building strong partnerships with marketing and


Microsoft Partners to drive success. Experience hunting for new customer opportunities is critical to success - required.


· Executive Presence. Experience and expertise selling to selling to technical decision makers & enterprise solution architects by aligning


& reinforcing the value of the solution to the customer’s overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities and decision criteriapreferredProblem Solver. Ability to solve customer problems through cloud technologies, specifically solutions related to cloud native apps –


containers & serverless, microservices, migration to cloud, Hybrid cloud, datacenter infrastructure modernization, DevOps/DevTest


required


· Collaborative. Orchestrate and influence virtual teams to pursue sales opportunities and lead v-teams through influence required


Technical


· Cloud Platform. Understanding of cloud platforms including Azure platform services, hybrid cloud technologies, developer tools andservices and/or complementing solutions. Requires the ability to engage with developers and IT architects as trusted advisors. Requiresthe ability to articulate and present the business value of Microsoft's Azure apps and infrastructure related cloud solutions and have firm


understanding of Microsoft's strategies and products relative to major competitors required


· Leadership. Experience leading large cloud deals especially those involving application portfolio modernization and migration, ERP on cloud, big compute and related preferred · Competitive Landscape. Knowledge of enterprise software solutions and cloud platform competitor landscape preferred Partners. Understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs preferred


· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred Education
