YOUR MISSION:
Ensure, in compliance with group policies and superior’s indications, the standard cost calculation for existing and new product launch, manage budgeting process related to costing activities with different departments (ensure the collection, assessment and analysis of results), perform month end close activities, variances and KPIs analysis and reporting.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Management Information Systems & Reporting:
- Maintain efficient and standardized cost accounting process for existing and new products launch in line with Groupe and PS guidelines
- Maintain the cost accounting structure in the ERP in line with Group and PS guidelines
Budgeting, Forecasting and Business Plan Processes:
- Prepare standard cost planning and budgeting activities
- Support relevant departments with economic evaluations/comments and collecting data in compliance with the guidelines
- Prepare new annual standard cost
- Support the preparation of the Budget Presentation to Product Supply Management related to standard cost and variances
Site Performance Assessment:
- Pro-actively advice, support and challenge Production Manager/Supervisors with timely and insightful analyses, assessments of variances compared to budget/target and relevant financial impacts /risks
- Provide regular Performance Reporting (KPIs) to relevant departments
- Timely communicate to the Site Controller on any unexpected issue impacting potentially the financial performance of the Site
- Propose / implement corrective actions in a timely manner
- Identify Lean improvement in business operation and finance and propose actions for implementation
- Monitor the weekly and monthly key performance indicators
Reporting:
- Prepare monthly and yearly closing process in collaboration with Local accounting team (inventory valuation, slow and no mover provision, various reconciliations, etc.)
- Ensure the periodic reporting for cost accounting, inventory and variances compared to budget (Efficiency, Volume, Price Variance)
- Support the preparation of the monthly Site Business Review report for specific KPIs (volume variances, efficiency, etc.)
Ad-hoc Analysis:
- Execution of analysis, simulations, for new products launch and SKUs rationalization initiatives
- Ensure constant support to various stakeholders (productions supervisors, procurement, master data, etc.) regarding the interpretation of data/operational trends
- Recommend business process improvements
Integrity of Financial Data and Compliance:
- Ensure strict respect of IFRS and internal guidelines
- Ensure adherence to the local fiscal and finance related regulations of the respective country
- Communicate with Product Supply Controlling/ Group Finance timely on potential issues, assess the risks and propose corrective measures
- Monitor, review, and improve local guidelines and procedures
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCES:
- Master’s degree in Management/Finance
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in cost accounting in Industry
- Knowledge of Internal Control
- Strong experience as Finance Partner to production Team
- Working Experience with ERP (such as Oracle or SAP)
- Fluency in French & English mandatory
- Basic knowledge with Lean Principles
- Strong ability to manage and analyse KPIs
