MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB




CVG EMEA Commercial Excellence mission: support the EMEA CVG BUs and Regions in delivering their topline, market share, profitability and customer commitments by providing innovative and insightful analytics for fact-driven decision making and enabling the necessary capabilities to optimize sales execution.



The Principal Sales Incentives Optimization manages CVG EMEA Sales Incentives Plan (SIP) design and performance monitoring; he/she recommends incentive initiatives to align with organizational objectives; maintain territory design/alignment standards.




JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



· Lead a consistent plan design, communication and implementation process (coordinate CVG related activities of MDT EMEA process)

· Recommend on sales targeting methodology and validate sales targets

· Conduct SIP health check and monitor plan performance

· Collaborate with cross functional group composed of finance and business leaders to effectively communicate plan and align on governance process to manage adjustments

· Work with Business Leaders on specific Incentives (SPIFF) and other necessary ad-hoc incentives

· Collaborate with Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) system team and country Commercial Excellence champions to ensure implementation and visibility of KPI and incentives metrics in reporting solutions

· Ensure accuracy of employee master data in respect to incentive compensation use

· Follow up on GTM strategy implementation; facilitate governance to minimize the variations; understand and formalize all deviations

· Establish sales force deployment and territory design standards

· Support strategic sales team with sales performance tracking and program execution insights

JOB QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES AND PERSONAL VALUES

Education & Experience


· Master degree in economics, business administration or equivalent
· 10 years of working experience in business related function / environment
· Experience in a role supporting marketing & sales (sales incentives / sales operations is a plus)
· Affinity with commercial excellence
· Experience with data analysis
· Having worked in an international company/environment, ideally in the medical device industry
· Experience in working in a complex organization with different countries / cultures

· Strategic, analytical and pragmatic thinking; ability to shift between details and overall picture
· Seasoned critical & analytical thinker
· Demonstrated skills for problem solving and issue handling
· Proactive and service oriented
· Concrete project management experience
· Excellent communication skills, able to connect and quickly create relationships with people at all levels of the organization.
· Fluency in English. Any other European language is an advantage
· A positive person that brings passion, energy and excellence in execution to his/her work

PRACTICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Comfortable with approx. 20% travel
· Work rate: 100%
· Based in Tolochenaz, Switzerland or Heerlen, Netherlands
