Liaising between the Origin team and the destination sales teams to ensure clear understanding of strategies and effective communication of information. Contribute to quality control / cupping sessions, help develop the younger traders on the desk by remaining open and willing to help in all aspects of the business. Aid in the development of Global cash strategies and actively participate in cash and research calls. Remaining flexible and open to tasks both adhoc and longer term, promoting an amicable and open working environment, helping to develop the junior talent by sharing experiences and including them in your work. Develop the relationships of select Customer accounts, allocation of which may vary from time to time. Active participation in the Global Cash discussions
Knowledge of Coffee trading business and logistics environment Customer Management and negotiation skills / extensive contacts within the coffee industry Market intelligence: ability to source, analyze, debate, and challenge data and capacity to share them in a proper manner in order to be well used within the platform.
