Founded in 2004 by a group of PhD students as a spin-off from the University of Zurich, Molecular Partners AG is a thriving and steadily growing clinical stage biotech company located in Zurich-Schlieren (Switzerland) with 125 highly qualified employees.

In order to advance modern medicine and significantly improve the management of serious diseases, we have developed and successfully established a powerful new class of potent, specific and versatile small protein therapies, called DARPin® therapeutics.

Manager HR Operations (60%) M/F

Job description

As an addition to our HR team we are looking for a motivated colleague.

This challenging and diverse position will include the following tasks and responsibilities:

• HR operations and administration process from entry to exit


• Maintain HR records by keeping past and current records


• Executing operational functions i.e. preparation of contracts, unpaid leave agreements, maternity process, reference letters, etc.


• Monthly payroll execution


• Maintain absence and time recording systems


• Support recruitment activities (job postings, interviews, communication, reference calls, hiring offers, etc.) using HR Tools (e.g. Talentsoft)


• Counseling of line managers and staff on employee related issues, policies and procedures, employee regulations, communication and production of compensation statements

Requirements

For this position, we are looking for a highly motivated individual bringing along:

• Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in the HR field as HR Operations and/or Payroll Manager


• Commercial apprenticeship and/or BSc; additional HR qualifications (e.g. HR Fachfrau/HR Fachmann, CAS or MAS in HR Management) a great plus


• Excellent knowledge re. payroll and social securities in Switzerland and a high affinity to details and numbers


• Excellent oral and written English and German skills


• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, strong planning and organization skills required


• Demonstrated capability in recruiting for a wide variety of positions


• Outstanding ability to cope with pressure and a high level of flexibility


• Excellent interpersonal skills, customer-orientated and the ability to develop relationships, negotiate and influence others
