Corporate Actions Specialist 
Job specification

• Responsible for the daily booking of income (cash dividends, interest payments, redemptions)


• Instruct Custodian with tax rates/quantities for US dividends (income allocation)


• Create CA notifications upon information from Custodians/Fund Managers/TAs


• Responsible to send out CA notifications to Front staff and TPC managers 


• Ensure timely instructions to Custodians/ TPC Global Custodians for voluntary Corp Actions (tender offer, merger, DRIPs)


• Responsible for CA deadline monitoring and booking of events


• Independent resolving of Corp Actions and income related enquiries


• Responsible for same day booking of proceeds in relation to Funds (Dividends, Equalisations, Accumulations, Property Income)


• Ensure timely instructions to Fund Administrator/TAs (liquidation of Funds, switches, mergers


• Handling of Limited Partnerships (LP) – booking of capital calls and distributions 


• Ensure timely and accurate payments of capital calls for LPs


• Handling of proxy voting

 
Required profile

• Completed commercial apprenticeship in a bank, insurance or similar


• At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience as Corporate Action Specialist in the private banking/wealth management area


• Profound work experience in a similar position


• Ability to work precise, structured, meeting deadlines and focus on risk prevention


• Reliable and self-motivated team player, flexible as well as customer oriented


• High sense of responsibility and independent working practice


• IT user skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and core Banking Applications


• Fluent German and English skills
