Product Manager (60%)

Your mission :

Be the key person in the launch of the Swiss MOOC Service, a national online education platform. We are looking for a product manager with experience in developing IT services and with an interest in learning technologies. Your challenge will be to build the institutional and commercial framework to operate the service on a national level. Our primary partners are the swiss institutions of higher education, but the service is available as well for companies and organizations.

Your work will take place at EPFL, the leading institution in Europe for MOOC development. At the Center for Digital Education you will interact with the technical specialists developing the service as well as with the course production and analytics team.
Main duties and responsibilities include :

• Establish Swiss MOOC Service membership charter


• Establish Service Level Agreement


• Promote the service and recruit consortium members


• Promote the service for commercial partners


• Advertise catalogue and course offering


• Refine business model and service modalities


• Manage course catalogue, define content categories, tags and topics

Your profile :

• Master level in IT or business/commercial fields or equivalent


• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in managing the development of IT services


• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in contract management


• Knowledge of the swiss higher education market


• Interest for the educational domain


• French, German, English.
