Goal of Sales Support Engineer role:


The Sales Support Engineer supports Sales managers and the Cluster organisations to grow the company’s Carbonated Soft Drinks sales and image by satisfying customers and strengthening customer relationships.


Role description:

  • Main tasks


Evaluate enquiries, prepare and present concept solutions.
Prepare quotations and technical proposals according to customer’s expectations.
Work in team to prepare technical material to be presented to the customers.
Give enquiry-based end customer pricing for equipment and total solutions.
Make quotations in the company’s ERP system (AMS)
Get costs from internally and external suppliers
Maintain and develop relationships with Cluster sales network.
Identify required training and where possible train market companies’ personnel in the Carbonated Soft Drinks product portfolio.
Adhere to the company’s work processes.


 



  • Responsibilities: 


Responsible for the tasks and activities mentioned above.
Responsible for the quotation including price, performance, scope, delivery.
Make all relevant information available to internal resources providing sales Pre-Project and manage available cost budget
 



  • Leadership: 


The Sales Pre-Project Engineer leads enquiries and coordinates supporting resources in order to complete high quality quotations. 
The Sales Pre-Project Engineer works independently but has recurring follow ups with the Sales Manager.
Working with colleagues within TPPE AG Switzerland, Italy and the wider Tetra Pak team, Business Unit Dairy & Beverage, Tetra Pak Carton and Sidel.

Academic Requirements:



  • Degree or equivalent in an engineering or processing related subject.


 


Additional Requirements:



  • Experience of creating processing solutions and calculating costs for customer equipment projects

  • Experience of the Beverage and ideally the Carbonated Soft Drinks industries would be a huge benefit

  • Knowledge of general Food Processing Techniques and Equipment

  • Fluency in German and English
