For one of our clients, a metal trading company based in Zug, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Operator.

Your Responsibilities:

• Execute daily operational activities and liaise with the financial department and provide them with the necessary data.


• Monitor vessel progress during voyages and provide regular updates internally where required


• In contact with forwarders and shipping agents


• Performance of all necessary chartering functions as applicable and check freight calculations against C/P and arrange timely payment


• Maintain a strong electronic filing system of all operations


• Ensure that the CTRM is updated regularly and always reflects the latest information.

• Fluent in German and English is mandatory


• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Operations for a metal trading company


• Excellent understanding of shipping documents and financial instruments


• Strong understanding of the different types of financial instruments and shipping documents


• Ideally available on short notice
