Celonic is investing into a new biologics development and GMP manufacturing facility in Basel.

To lead this strategic initiative, we are looking for an  

Operations Project Lead (f/m/d)

 

 Your area of responsibility:

• Manage the design and implementation ( construction ) phases of the end-to-end project


• Manage screening, selection and finalization of contractual terms with multiple vendors, including engineering and construction management firms


• Guide the vendor selection process for future biologics development platform and required equipment


• Compile and report the project progress to multiple stake holders including senior management


• Continuously optimize business processes along the entire value chain

Your skills & qualification:

• Master or PhD in biotechnology, engineering or microbiology


• Excellent English skills, German skills favorable


• Excellent oral and written communication skills


• Clear understanding on multiple steps in biologics process development and manufacturing


• Excellent coordination skills, high learning agility and open mindset for change


• Good hands-on exposure to establishing / managing  a small-to-mid size bioprocess development site


• Track record of understanding and managing complex project on facility expansion or upgrade


• Commercial supply facility experience will be a plus
