Business Process and Application Alignment Manager Reporting and and Analytics

As overall Business Reporting and Analytics Workstream lead you will be leading a team of Reporting and Analytics experts in a matrix organization & across the different functions of Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Commercial Operations. In this role you will represent and ensure the business governance for Reporting and Analytics within the program.


You will be responsible together with the IT Reporting & Analytics Lead for developing the cross-functional Reporting & Analytics Strategy for leading the successful design and delivery of Reporting & Analytics solutions within the program; for considering the reporting and analytics requirements during the process design; for considering reporting and analytics solutions as part of the Roche Global Template; for establishing and applying design guidelines (“where will the analytics be realized”); for ensuring that identified user requirements for Reporting & Analytics follow the same governance process as business process requirements and are aligned with BPO(s), BPM(s), BSO(s), BSM(s).


Your main responsibilities include:



  • Facilitate scope and governance reviews with respective governance bodies / roles

  • Coaching of BPO(s) and BPMs in Reporting & Analytics guidelines as well as in capabilities of reporting tools

  • Coordinating, facialitating the communication across the functional stream regarding all Reporting and Analytics related topics

  • Ensures Reporting & Analytics training is embedded in the respective business process trainings

  • This role supports the BPO in analyzing business operations to assist in the design/redesign and documentation of business processes and clear definition of the business requirements regarding Reporting and Analytics


You have a Master's degree or equivalent experience in the respective functional area, Business Administration, or related field and 10+ years related business experience. You have at least four years of professional experience in a similar or consulting function with a focus on Reporting and Analytics and hands-on experience leading Reporting and Analytics strategy collaborating with cross functional teams comprised of project team, BPOs and IT organizations


Besides, the following experience and skills are required:



  • You have solid skills and knowledge in the operational business and have an in-depth understanding of processes

  • You have highly developed expertise with regard to project management as well as training and coaching both individuals and teams. You are a proficient user of the MS Office applications and of SAP, especially S4/HANA

  • You are able to persuade your customers and business partners during presentations and project meetings in both German and English and communicate in a manner appropriate to your target audience in the process

  • Strong stakeholder, communication and change management skills snf outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Strong people skills are required as the role is highly consultative, interacting with staff at all levels across an organization

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and foster collaborative relationships with ability to engage resources outside of direct-control to gain consensus, meet deadlines and achieve goals and objectives

  • Capable of presenting material to senior management and awareness and ability to lead and work in multi-cultural teams

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
