- Actively contribute to implementation of local and cross-functional improvement initiatives by applying lean management methods and managing stakeholders at all levels
- Provide professional input with regard to the refinement of our Continuous Improvement strategy for manufacturing, assembly/installation, and logistics
- Spearhead various projects aimed at optimizing processes and systems, in addition to supporting and managing them
- Prepare and conduct lean management workshops (Muda, 5S, SMED, Value Stream Mapping, Layout Planning, etc.)
- Provide staff coaching within the area of production, focusing on Lean Six Sigma and CIP
- Refine and evolve systems and tools (SAP, BW, proprietary Excel tools)
- Solid qualifications in a technical discipline, preferably combined with modules/advanced training in business administration
- 5+ years experience in project management
- Keen interest and initial work experience in the area of Lean Production and/or Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt Certification is a plus)
- High degree of proficiency in the use of MS Office (VBA), ideally complemented by hands-on experience relating to MS Access, MS Visio, and SAP
- Quick intellect and willingness to acquire knowledge, in addition to well-developed analytical skills and assertiveness
- Fluent command of German and strong command of English
