Team Leader Electrical Systems and Utilities Management System (UMS)

Our Electrical Systems & Utilities Management System (UMS) team within the New Projects department is looking for a Team Leader.

What you do:

• Leadership and line management of the PC-24 Electrical Systems and UMS Team, encompassing human ressources, budget and planning tasks


• Responsible for the support and update of the certified PC-24 Electrical Systems and UMS platform


• Responsible for the preparation of Technical Specification documents and for suppliers selection and suppliers management for the PC-24 Electrical Systems and UMS and for similar systems to be deployed on New Projects as/if/when required


• Responsible for both qualification and aircraft system testing and preparation of associated certification compliance documents for the Electrical and UMS systems (including HIRF/EMI/IEL activities)


• Maintain and actively promote close working relationships with other R&D groups and departments (in particular, but not limited to, Mechanical System teams) and with production, customer support and flight test departments to ensure optimal support of the PC-24 product

What you bring:

• Professional, qualified engineer with at least 10 years' experience in the design, development, certification and support of electrical systems and control/monitoring computing (software) systems deployed on CS/FAR 23 complex aircraft (must have) or CS/FAR 25 aircraft (beneficial)


• Sound knowledge of electrical systems architectures deployed on board of CS/FAR 23 complex aircraft (must have) or on board of CS/FAR 25 aircraft (beneficial)


• Mechanical and avionics systems knowledge are not strictly required but considered as an advantage during the selection process


• Familiar with systems engineering practice according to ARP4754A and thorough knowledge of software and hardware certification to DO-178 and DO-254 requirements


• Good german and english skills, in speaking and writing (min. Level B2)
