Internship in global sustainable development (80%)

ETH for Development (ETH4D eth4d.ethz.ch/) is an ETH-wide initiative to develop innovations that address global development challenges and to educate future leaders in sustainable development. We are looking for an Intern to support various activities. We offer professional training and a wide range of tasks and responsibilities in a fast paced and dynamic environment. You will work closely with the Executive Director of ETH4D and report directly to her.Internship in global sustainable development (80%)
The Intern will support the ETH4D Executive office with various administrative and management tasks, which may include: Organize and prepare meetings, public events, seminars and conferences; Manage ETH4D website and social media channels; Develop and manage databases for ETH4D stakeholders; Provide input to concept notes and editing of material in German and English; Support competitive processes for research and student/faculty exchange grants; Other tasks related to overall administration and stakeholder management.
Ideal candidates fulfill the following requirements: Pursuing or completion of a BA or MA degree in any field; Dedication to detail, open-minded, willing to learn new things and to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team; Strong ability to communicate in German and English (oral and written); Outstanding intercultural communication skills, and ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team; Excellent command of Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel, other applications such as InDesign are an asset; Experience in the field of international development, preferably with INGOs and/ or commercial organizations is a plus.
