In this position, you will support the professor and group members with administrative and organizational matters. This includes human resources, accounting and finances, administration of research projects, travel arrangements, maintenance and updating of web pages, coordination of meetings and group events, hosting of visitors, and organizing an upcoming re-location. The position comes with significant responsibility as well as significant freedom to be a critical part of a leading research group. You will get to interact with a very bright set of young minds and will be able to help their growth. The ideal candidate should have several years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a university environment, and the relevant educational background. Trustworthiness, reliability and loyalty to the mission of the professor and the research/teaching/service duties of the group are greatly important. The ideal candidate should have excellent computer skills (MS Office, SAP, Google Docs, web page and document management, etc.) and an excellent knowledge of English and German both in writing and speaking.
